College Visits: Information and Impressions

University of California, Merced

Four days after our visit to UC Merced, California shut down. So we felt extra lucky to have walked the campus (despite most students learning remotely) and feel the modern vibe set in this rural, agricultural landscape of Merced. The whole campus gleams with new buildings, groomed grounds and well placed water features that reflect the geometric buildings.  Here are some highlights and takeaways from our day.

Saint Mary’s College of CALifornia

One of the last two colleges AP College consulting visited before the great shut in began.  But what a great visit it was!  Besides meeting with a former client who is happily finishing out her freshman year there, we met with multiple admission officers and got treated to a private tour by a highly informed junior.
